Lewis Hamilton's McLaren MP4-23 - the car in which Lewis passed Timo Glock on the last lap of the last race to win his 1st World Drivers title.
Shot by internationally renowned photographer, Jesse Seaward, this is a limited edition, Giclée Fine Art print of our original 'Lewis '08 artwork (No.2).
Lewis '08
Limited to a run of 150, each Giclée Fine Art print is individually signed and numbered.
- Printed on Hahnemüle Photorag paper for a super matt finish, superior colour reproduction and excellent detail.
- With a minimal surface texture, Hahnemüle Photorag paper has a chalky smooth cotton feel to achieve smooth colour gradients.
- Due to its delicate surface, we recommend extra care when handling.
- Suitable for mounting, Hahnemüle Photorag's cotton texture means edges can fray if not carefully handled.
Packaging
To protect your Giclee Fine Art Print, we carefully roll it within sheets of acid-free tissue paper and use tough, durable cardboard tubes to package and post them.
Receiving your print
The paper we use is a high-quality archival stock which means it tends to hold its curl when unboxed.
While some people advocate ‘reverse rolling’ to flatten their artworks, we would not recommend this as the paper fibres can be easily damaged, creased and dented.
If you are going to use a framer, let them unroll your artwork – they are skilled and have the space to do the job.
If on the other hand you want to flatten your own artwork, please follow the steps below:
- Find a clear, clean space big enough to fit your artwork and where it can sit undisturbed for a few days while it flattens out.
- Carefully unroll your artwork and place it face down onto your clean space. If the ends of the paper try to curl under, simply place a large, flat piece of cardboard on top to encourage your artwork to lay flat.
- Depending on the humidity of the room, your artwork should begin to relax and flatten between 24 and 48hrs. Once flat, store your artwork flat.
